AI Solutions for Government
AI SOLUTIONS — for Government
For more than 33 years, CTAC has helped public sector organizations navigate major technology shifts with confidence. Today, that includes AI.
Our approach to AI is grounded in the realities of government: security, compliance, transparency, operational risk, and long-term sustainability. We help agencies move beyond hype to identify where AI can create real value, then design and implement solutions with the right guardrails in place.

CTAC implements AI guardrails in a variety of ways including by leveraging model specific guardrails available directly in AWS Bedrock and other foundational model tools, defining use-case specific guardrails, steering guides, and prompt customization based on business need and operating model, and by enacting automated testing of model inputs as time passes, models change over time, and underlying technology changes.
We implement AI with a focus on reducing hallucinations, and boosting accuracy, security, and credibility.
CTAC leverages agentic AI in a multitude of ways:
– We build agentic solutions for customer networks and software stacks. These agents have included internal tooling for teams and help desks to agents that directly interface with users to reduce help desk costs.
– Developers and DevOps engineer use coding agents to enhance and accelerate delivery for everything from software, infrastructure as code, and generating documentation and specifications.
– Business Analysts use agents to assist with generating reports, documentation, and reviewing documentation. Leveraging agents to work as an auxiliary data source that can compile and collate information faster.
Implementing AI can have a variety of costs based on model and workflow. Simple AI integrations may be part of workforce productivity suites for a lower cost. Complex integrations and workflows can cost more depending on agent/model usage and resources required for augment the agent with additional data and context to make decisions. CTAC leverages best practices and the well-architected framework to design solutions that provide value for cost and can be optimized to give the best possible price for performance.
The concept of human in the loop is to make sure humans review agent-produced work products or decisions at key points where human insight is necessary for safety and sanity. This can mean ensuring human software developers perform peer reviews of AI generated code. It can also mean that workflows include a human review where the agent provides key details from information, decision process, and outcome – such as in a workflow where users have submitted documentation for a program. A key aspect of using AI responsibly is ensuring observability of the AI, reviewing decision trees and processes, and testing regularly.
Yes! CTAC is providing solutions to government agencies today using AI agents and models to deliver value both in the development lifecycle and in business workflows. Leveraging AWS (or other cloud providers’) AI agents and models can be deployed within an agency’s own boundary with agency data never leaving the agency’s control. With tools such as AWS Bedrock, Bedrock Agent-core, and/or Strands, agents can be customized and deployed along with necessary infrastructure for retrieval augmented generation (RAG) or Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to further enhance agents abilities.
