CTAC is pleased to announce its participation in the 2018 Amazon Web Services (AWS) Public Sector Summit in Washington, D.C. occurring June 20-21, 2018 at the Silver sponsorship level. CTAC will present a 15-minute Partner Theater Tech Talk and Demo Lab presentation while at the Summit, as well as host a booth during the two-day event.

With modern web applications increasingly shifting toward serverless architecture, clients are interested in maintaining control and confidence over the development and release pipelines that have become the backbone of agile development over the past decade. At this year’s Summit, CTAC Solutions Architect Steffen Gates will lead a Tech Talk on architecting Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for serverless Lambda applications. Using this model, CTAC has leveraged multiple AWS services including lambda, Api Gateway, CloudFormation, CodePipeline, DynamoDB, s3, and others to implement an extremely low cost, high-performance, serverless service to protect users from using passwords exposed during high profile security breaches. Monitoring breached password corpora is a key requirement for the latest NIST Digital Identity Guidelines (NIST Special Publication 800-63-3).

In April 2018, by showcasing expertise and a deep understanding of working with government customers, CTAC was audited and approved for the AWS Government Competency. The Government Competency is granted through Amazon’s AWS Partner Network (APN) to Partners who have proven both technical proficiency and customer success in the public sector.
