Increasingly, our customers are requiring that their critical business applications and systems be accessible from remote sites, without having to concern themselves with client deployment strategies.
We provide low cost options using Open Source enabling technologies such as Linux, Apache Web Server, Perl CGI or competitively priced options using industry standard technologies such as Microsoft IIS, Oracle Web Server, and Netscape Commerce Server. We can provide site hosting services using either our own equipment or arranging these services through our business partnerships. In the latter case, we can provide oversight and management of the web site to ensure customer satisfaction.
Our staff of graphic artists and web developers are skilled in presenting the customer's business information to the public in a creative, meaningful fashion. Information content is tastefully integrated with custom designed or customer supplied graphics so that the information is easily readable as well as pleasing to the eye.
Because of the relatively high cost of client/server implementations as compared to Web based implementations, we at CTAC continually keep abreast of Web technology enhancements so that we can intelligently recommend the appropriate development tools and strategies. We have successfully used Open Source as well as industry standard solutions to migrate clients from client/server environments to the Web. Because some of our customers must conform to Government Information Security policies, we have extensive experience providing secure, closed loop solutions in an open Web environment.
The acceptance of the Internet, in both commercial and government sectors, has made the Web a valid medium for information collection and dissemination. Database systems benefit from this acceptance and most Relational Database Management System (RBDMS) vendors are enabling their systems for Web connectivity. We have extensive experience integrating existing customer database systems with Web collection and dissemination technologies to provide flexible and affordable implementations. For customers who traditionally cannot afford advanced Web/Database solutions, we can provide low cost, Open Source solutions that do not sacrifice performance or flexibility.
