CTAC Wins Award of Security Consulting Services Contract
With the Commonwealth of Virginia

Communications Training Analysis Corporation (CTAC) was recently awarded a contract with the Commonwealth of Virginia to provide Security Consulting Services.  CTAC teamed with several other world class companies to provide security consulting services.  These companies are: Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. of Alexandria, VA; InScope International of Reston, VA; and Secure Integrator Corporation of Manassas, VA.

The Commonwealth of Virginia’s Division of Engineering and Buildings in the Department of General Services procured, through a competitive procurement process, qualified security consultants to provide risk assessments and security services to any public bodies of the Commonwealth of Virginia on an on call basis.  Specific contract task areas include:

•    Risk Assessment – Independent and objective security assessments that identify threats and vulnerabilities which could result in critical information needed to make effective risk management decisions and protect assets.  

•    Security Master Plans – Design and develop effective security programs which include a combination of policy and procedures, personnel and physical security.  

•    Security System Design – Provide design and technical services for site specific security systems inclusive of CCTV and other types of security.  

CTAC and its teaming partners see the award of this contract as an opportunity to provide its expertise to assess, and develop and design security systems for critical infrastructure in the Commonwealth of Virginia to ensure that assets are being protected appropriately.
