The position's primary focus will be web application design and development using the agile approach.

Required skills:

• Object-oriented business logic programming.
• Java or Ruby
• Database design and SQL querying
• MVC frameworks such as Spring MVC, Grails, or Ruby on Rails

Preferred skills:

• Front-end web / mobile design (preferred)
• Database access layers such as ActiveRecord and Hibernate
• Oracle or MySQL
• JavaScript / Ajax
• Mobile Phone Development
• OS X / Linux / Unix

Work will be performed mainly at company headquarters in Fairfax, VA (with some work and meetings at client sites in Washington, DC). Successful candidates must be able to pass minimum public trust security clearance requirement. A Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience is preferred.
